Attending a wedding

Last Saturday was a great challenge for me as we attended Joshua's best friend's church wedding ceremony and the wedding dinner. It was a true test of my physical endurance while I was still only at 20% functionality due to the pregnancy. However, Joshua had graciously agreed to going over all the way to Melbourne as a family to help out and participate for my best friend's wedding in the past, I felt that I would be short-changing him if I didn't even put in the effort for us to attend his best friend's wedding. Thus, I committed it all to the Lord and prayed that I would not cause any unsightly incident during inappropriate times at such a happy occasion.

Praise God that it all went smoothly except for my near blacking out at the end of the lunch reception. The weather was soooooo hot that my body simply couldn't take it in its weakened state. Thankfully, most of the guests were already gone and some of our friends helped fan me and kept me company while Joshua went to get the car so that we could make it home for some rest. :) Felt really 'pai seh' that I made the groom worry for me...
