Today being a Saturday, Joash and Jayna have a chance to meet their little sister at last. When they arrived, Jaide was still undergoing phototherapy for jaundice so they showered their attention on me who has been absent for 2 nights in a row. After playing together, pretending to be different types of animals, Joash suddenly remembered and asked, "Where's 小妹?"
It just happened to be the time when Jaide was due to be back in the room so, hand-in-hand, we walked to the nursery to pick her up. Their first encounter was so filled with delight! The both of them kept reaching out to stroke the little newborn and Jaide seemed to enjoy all the attention she was getting. In fact, Joash asked me to bring her out of her little cot and put her on the bed so that they could be nearer to her. I'm so thankful to God that they are getting off to a good start. I pray that they will continue to develop their sibling love for one another. :)
