Prep for School

Jayna's uniform and towel

School bag + water bottle
with matching name key-chains

I searched high and low for a nice pair of
sandals
which can fit her small slim feet.
In order to prevent a repeat telecast of the horror that happened when I got pregnant with Jayna, I have patiently waited till my daughter is of age to go school before I try for another child. This way, it'll be safer, especially for Jayna and the unborn child, and easier on me, if my pregnancy symptoms prove to be as bad as the first two times.

I don't expect her to be as gung-ho as Joash who hardly cried on his first day and took to it like a duck to water, but I do pray that she'll eventually adjust well to it without too much crying especially since she has her brother for company. (Praise God that there's vacancy for her in the same school!) A good sign is that she was upset I had to stop her from going into the classroom together with Joash on a few occasions while we sent him to school.

Recently, I've been busy preparing the things for Jayna. With more experience, I bought cheap towels instead of the expensive hooded baby towels I purchased for Joash in the past. I now know the exact size of the bag needed to contain all that required stuff. The one I bought for her brother was way too small. Of course, I also took the chance to upgrade Joash to a new Thomas & Friends backpack and water bottle. He absolutely loved them! I wanted to buy a pair of matching sandals for him but he actually chose the Chuggington ones instead.

These replaced the Bob Dog bag which spotted a tear at the side
and the water bottle which had it's straw ripped out. (Not sure by whom)

I do pray that she'll come to like school as much as Joash when she finally enters playgroup middle of next month! *grin*
