As with previous holidays, I am bringing the kids on outings or planning special programs at least twice a week. The first week was a simple pony party (where they ironically didn't play with their ponies and played other games with the guests instead) and a revisit to Happy Willow. Second week saw us going to more happening places.
Last Tuesday, we went to the National Gallery's newly opened Keppel Centre for Art Education with a CG mate and her kids. I really didn't expect the kids to love the place so much. They took so long at each station and refused to leave at our urging, resulting in a very late lunch.
The children were very creative when they were handed some simple raw materials to make whatever they want. I couldn't resist and joined in the fun too. Too bad our trip was cut short due to an unfortunate event and the pouring rain. Nevertheless, I thank God for the enjoyable trip and the pleasant company.
