Adventure Cove Waterpark

Joram and his second sister are now 107-122cm tall. This means that they are eligible to go on most rides at Adventure Cove Waterpark with the company of an adult. Joshua is able to look after Joram while I watch over the younger girl throughout the place. The older two can simply keep each other company since they are both above 122cm.

We started the day with a sumptuous breakfast at Vivocity's Ya Kun. The kids were discussing what colour train we'd be boarding at the Sentosa Express and lo and behold, we got the rainbow one! Everyone's preferred colour was represented. :P

I wanted to be fully present during this outing so I did not take any pictures while within the compound. Neither did I want to spend the money to purchase the ones taken by the professionals inside. Despite a few boo-boos arising from the fact that it was our first time there, we had great fun. Most of the rides and attractions were really enjoyable. The Adventure River and Bluewater Bay were a total hit with the children. A pity the older ones were not game enough to try out some of the more challenging activities. In fact, I was the only one who completed the Rainbow Reef and the ropes course at the upper level of the Wet Maze

The queue for the Riptide Rocket took ridiculously long because there was some technical problem which needed fixing. I volunteered to stay in the line while the rest of the family chillaxed at the nearby wave pool. When we managed to get onto the ride, I was horrified. I found it the scariest one of them all!!! I was so worried that the younger two would accidentally let go of the handles and fly off halfway... I prayed like crazy for their safety especially for Joram. As it were, the float Joshua and Joram were on capsized at the end and there were a few very very frantic moments of getting him out of the water asap. Thank God he was none the worse for it. *sweat*

Finally, we got back to Vivocity's Food Republic for one of the most fabulous dinners we've ever had. I had only thought to take a photo of the remnant food after we all wolfed down to our hearts' content the delicious items. What a fabulous and exciting trip!
