The theme of this June's outings will be all about sports. We kicked off the holidays with a bowling session. Next, we went to Tampines Hub to let the kids try out the cute version of rock-climbing in the hope of encouraging them to overcome their fear of heights. I have also planned a cycling trip, swimming/waterplay activities and archery in the weeks to come. Very healthy and active yah? Hahaha...
We've never explored Tampines before because it is on the opposite side of the island from our home. So first up, after traveling for more than an hour on the train, we walked around the various malls near the MRT station to check out the food choices. We settled on a regular favourite Men Men Don Don while the adventurous eldest wanted to try assam laksa on his own. Spicy and shiok!
After lunch, we headed over to the HomeTeamNS Clip 'n Climb to challenge gravity. Joram did not climb very high for the most part but he said he almost reached the top for the ladder panel. Sadly, only paid participants were allowed inside so I could not take a video of him doing that section since it was far away from the entrance.

After the session, we could not go to the swimming pool for water play because it was raining. So, the older kids entertained themselves with board games borrowed from the info counter. I rented a tricycle stroller for Joram to amuse himself with. Look at how much fun he had with it below! LOL After which, we spotted garden swings at the Sky Terrace that we could use to pass the time.
At last, the rain stopped and we could go to the rooftop swimming complex for some water fun, followed by a lovely Mos Burger dinner, before we headed home in a cab.
